Hey, are you the Olivia Pope of Executive Assistants (minus the drama…of course)?
Well actually, I am looking for a cross between Olivia Pope (Scandal) and Donna (Suits). I need someone who will have my back at all times…become my go-to…my right hand… I think you get the picture.
If you are looking for an awesome opportunity that’s not only fun, challenging, and enjoyable, but also pays you more money the harder you work, then look no further.
When you show up, be ready to work hard and be duly rewarded. This is not a show up and sit there kind of position. If you perform, I will notice it and you will be rewarded. What I want is to find the right person who takes ownership and a real interest in doing quality work. I know the success of our company is based on the success of our team members, and that’s why I believe in creating a fun work process and rewarding those that deserve it.
However, let me make one thing abundantly clear. Yes, we have fun, but when it comes to working hard and producing results for our clients, we are VERY serious. I am not looking for a clock watcher, Facebook-er, personal phone caller, makeup doer, excuse maker, constant complainer type of person.
Oh! Wait! Before I forget… please do NOT include your resume because I will not read it. Seriously… I will not read it so don’t bother. I don’t hire resumes or backgrounds. I ONLY hire Superstars. The fact that you “mastered point-of-service computer systems for automated order taking” (aka worked at a fast food restaurant) or have a MBA from the Wharton Business School means absolutely nothing to me. If you can’t get the job done and prove it… that resume is not worth the paper it was printed on. But don’t worry, I have my ways of finding out if you will be a good fit, even without a resume (evil laugh).
Note: If it bothers you that this is not a stuffy job posting or if you feel I am not being “professional” Please…I am begging you, please do not apply.
If you have read this far that means you are still interested so let’s get down to business!

The Right Person:

  • Loves working with people.
  • Decent at computers (If you can update WordPress, that’s about the skill level needed).
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Enjoy contributing ideas and sharing your thoughts, while you do your job.
  • You must be VERY organized and detail oriented. I am one of those creative types, so I am always coming up with ideas and tasks so I need someone with the ability to keep track.
  • You absolutely must be punctual. No joking here.
  • You must be willing to learn new things. I like to stay on the cutting edge with our techniques and procedures so you must be easily trained.
  • Any knowledge that you have of social media, internet marketing, and/or direct response marketing is a plus.
  • You must be resourceful and trustworthy.
  • To sum it up, I am looking for a talented and hard working person that would like to become a valuable member of our team.

About Me (Charles):

  • Editor-in-chief of MogulInsider.com (Re-launching in January).
  • I am also a sport fanatic. Check out my twitter page if you don’t believe me: Twitter.com/IamCharlesMajor.
  • Most of all, I LOVE what I do.

About Position:

  • Will start off as a 1-week paid trial (I don’t expect anyone to do free work) to see if we can work well together.
  • Most days you can work remotely from home, but there will be times when you will need to come into the office and attend events.
  • Control deadlines of projects assigned to various staff.
  • Define & maintain all business processes.
  • Planning and scheduling internal meetings, conference calls, web based presentations.
  • Monitoring email traffic and follow-up accordingly.

  • Create spreadsheets, compose correspondence, manage databases, and occasionally create presentations, statistical reports, and documents as assigned.
  • Make travel arrangements (both domestic and international flights, hotels, and transportation) incl. itinerary coordination and planning.
